Novel Gifts

Well I have
(1) stereoscopic eyes.
And I live in a world
(2) of color, a rich gift.
I am blessed by being
(3) surrounded by feeling.
The muscles of my
(4) body stir me. I model my self
(5) covered in fragrant air.
(6) I make moments and enjoy the gift of time.
We haven't always been graced with such senses.
Not all creatures have these gifts.
It took the Graces to grant them
slowly as we open the pretty boxes.
I wonder
what new gifts are yet to come,
what awaits us when we are ready?
