Hearing Aid Batteries

When I wake up
at the edge of beginning
just as the light
ventures onto my
part of the body of the planet,
before God can scratch
the itch I cause, when
.
I wake up I sit at my table
and throw out my yesterday.
I fetch today from a plastic
bubble pack and start my hearing.
.
Suddenly I can know
I am breathing through
something spread 

over solid, living space.

It's today.
I have a few remaining weeks and
I'd better order more.
