My fantasies
got all grumpy today.
Unwelcome comments
from the jump. I
couldn't talk to them.

It was only Tuesday
early in the morning
when I was ready
to be nice.

They are all busy,
ignoring me,
or telling how
they no longer want

conversation because of
my recent misdeeds.
I didn't mean anything

by it, I claim. Then silence.
