A Father's Day Panegyric to a Lamp
I took
Tiffany into my man cave,
and she
gave me the hand
of a woman.
Thank you Clara
for inventing
this touch of motherhood
and fantasy.
I took her roughly
into my man cave
and pushed my beer brand
through her colors.
I replaced her
butterflies with
emblems of Jets
and Rangers.
I broke her
and, wounded,
she sang.
